Book Giveaway: Reclaim Your Nest Egg

February 22nd, 2011  |  Published in General  |  6 Comments

I’m giving away a copy of the book, Reclaim Your Nest Egg: Take Control of Your Financial Future (Bloomberg). According to a review by the Library Journal in this book noted financial adviser Kamen (president, Mercadien Asset Management), writing with Burg, offers a practical guide to building a retirement nest egg. He writes, “this book is about finding your own strategy—one that suits your budget, your temperament, your lifestyle, and your goals.” Lack of control over the nest egg can be caused, according to Kamen, by “irrational and impulsive” decisions, pressure by salespeople, and noise from the media that can divert one from reaching financial goals.

To enter the contest just leave a comment. Limit one entry per person and you must have a US mailing address. The winner will be drawn at random on Monday February 28, 2011.

Just found your blog recently. It’s great! It’s refreshing
to hear about others who are living and saving like we are. Despite having higher incomes than most of our friends, we have the smallest house and cheapest cars and live way below our means. It is nice to know we’re not alone! All our friends think we’re crazy! 🙂 Entering contest…the book sounds interesting.
